
SERIKALI ya Tanzania na Serikali ya Jamhuri ya watu wa China Jana Novemba 28, 2022 zimesaini mikataba ya ushirikiano wa pamoja katika kuboresha huduma za afya nchini.
Hafla ya makubaliano hayo imeongozwa na Naibu Waziri wa Afya Dkt. Godwin Mollel na Makamu Waziri wa Afya wa Jamhuri ya watu wa China Mhe. CAO Xuetao katika Ofisi ndogo za Wizara ya Afya Jijini Dar es Salaam.
Dkt. Mollel amesema, mashirikiano hayo yamelenga katika maeneo ya kujenga uwezo katika eneo la watoto, kubadilishana teknolojia katika maeneo ya upasuaji wa mishipa (Neurosurgery), eneo la Saratani na upasuaji wa Moyo (Cardiology).
Amesema, lengo la jumla la kusaini ushirikiano huo ni kuimarisha ukaribu kati ya nchi zote mbili utaoleta manufaa pande zote ili kukidhi uboreshaji wa matibabu na afya kupitia mafunzo kwa Wataalamu.
Sambamba na hilo, Dkt. Mollel amesema mashirikiano hayo yatapunguza gharama kwa Serikali kwa kupunguza rufaa za nje ya nchi zisizo za lazima na kutumia rasilimali hizo katika kuboresha huduma nyingine nchini.
Aidha, Dkt. Mollel ameushukuru ujumbe huo kutoka Jamhuri ya watu wa China kwa tukio hilo na kuweka wazi kuwa, Serikali kupitia Wizara ya Afya itaendelea kutoa ushirikiano wa kutosha katika kuboresha huduma za afya nchini.
Kwa upande wake Makamu Waziri wa Afya wa Jamhuri ya watu wa China Mhe. CAO Xuetao amesema kuwa, China na Tanzania zimekuwa uhusiano wa karibu na kusaidiana katika maendeleo ya Tanzania kwenye sekta mbalimbali.
Amesema China imekuwa ikileta wataalam wa afya kuja nchini kusaidia katika utoaji wa huduma za afya ambapo hadi sasa wameshatoa huduma kwa watu zaidi ya Milioni 25.
Mhe. Mr. CAO Xuetao amesema kupitia makubaliano hayo wataalam kutoka Tanzania wataongezewa ujuzi katika fani mbalimbali za afya ili kuweza kutoa huduma bora za afya hapa nchini.

Tanzania and China sign an agreement on improving the health sector.The Government of Tanzania and the Government of the People’s Republic of China today November 28, 2022 have signed joint cooperation agreements in improving health services in the country.The ceremony of the agreement has been led by Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Godwin Mollel and Deputy Minister of Health of the People’s Republic of China Hon. CAO Xuetao at the small offices of the Ministry of Health in Dar es Salaam.Dr. Mollel said the partnership is focused on building capacity in the pediatric area, exchanging technology in the areas of neurosurgery, cancer and cardiology.He said that the overall aim of signing the cooperation is to strengthen cooperation between the two countries which will benefit both sides to meet the improvement of medical and health through training for Professionals.In line with that, Dr. Mollel said the partnership will reduce costs to the government by reducing unnecessary foreign appeals and utilizing the resources in improving other services in the country.In addition, Dr. Mollel thanked the message from the People’s Republic of China for the incident and made it clear that the Government through the Ministry of Health will continue to provide adequate cooperation in improving health services in the country.On his part, the Deputy Minister of Health of the People’s Republic of China Hon. CAO Xuetao has said that China and Tanzania have been a close relationship and have been helping each other in the development of Tanzania in different sectors.He said China has been bringing health professionals to the country to assist in the delivery of health services where they have so far provided services to over 25 million people.Hon. Mr. CAO Xuetao has said that through the agreement experts from Tanzania will be given skills in various health sectors so that they can provide good health services in the country.The end.\n
